Delfina Colombres

I am Delfina Colombres, a multidisciplinary artist born in Tucumán, Argentina, and currently based in Perth, Australia. My work is an exploration of memory, identity, and materiality, transforming the everyday into visual narratives.
From engraving and ceramics to embroidery and illustration, I combine traditional techniques with contemporary approaches. My artistic process is guided by intuition and dialogue with materials, seeking to reveal the story that each texture and layer can tell.
Through my art, I explore the relationship between transformation and belonging, examining how materials evoke memories and human connections. Each piece is a bridge between technique and emotion, a space where observation and experience intertwine.
My artistic practice began with textile weaving in Tafí del Valle and evolved through engraving in Buenos Aires and ceramics in Australia. Each stage has been a fundamental part of building my artistic identity.
Today, my journey remains in constant motion, exploring new forms of expression and discovering in materiality a way to translate experiences, memories, and emotions into tangible works.
